The BJP’s state executive committee meeting in Puri showcased the rich Odia language, culture, and identity. Key Discussions and Attendance
Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal emphasized the significance of the meeting. “It’s a crucial executive committee meeting. There will be discussions on several crucial matters. BJP National President JP Nadda will also attend the meeting,” he said. The meeting aims to ensure proper coordination within the government and fulfill all promises made.
Odisha BJP in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar highlighted recent achievements: “You have already seen the governance of BJP in the last one month. Ratna Bhandar has been opened, all the four doors of Srimandir have been opened, we will be implementing the Subhadra Yojna, we are going to provide Rs 3,100 per quintal as the Minimum Support Price of paddy.”
Nadda’s Visit and Welcome
BJP National President JP Nadda arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday to attend the meeting. He received a warm welcome from senior BJP leaders and workers at Biju Patnaik International Airport. Nadda, who is also Union Health Minister, is set to address the two-day meeting.
Comprehensive Participation
State BJP president Manmohan Samal noted that besides Nadda, the meeting will be attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, state ministers, all party MLAs and MPs, and Union Ministers from the state. Coordinators for assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies, district presidents, and office bearers of various fronts will also participate in the two-day meeting.
Agenda and Roadmap
The BJP will discuss a roadmap on the prevailing political situation and other crucial issues along with welfare programs of the party government. A review of assembly segments where BJP candidates lost by narrow margins in recent elections is also expected.
Recent Election Success
The BJP won 78 of the 147 Assembly seats and 20 of the 21 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state in the recent elections, underscoring the party’s significant presence and influence in Odisha.
