A Landmark Win at IITF 2025
Odisha clinched the Gold Medal for First Prize in Excellence in Display at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from November 14–27. Awarded by ITPO on November 27, the recognition placed Odisha at the forefront among 31 participating states and Union Territories. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi described the honour as a defining moment that elevates Odisha’s national and global stature while acknowledging the pivotal role of artisans, SHGs, and government departments.
A Pavilion Rooted in Heritage, Innovation, and Inclusivity
Inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, the Odisha Pavilion—set up in Hall No. 4—featured 26 integrated stalls representing nine departments under the theme Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Designed as a curated journey from tradition to modernity, the pavilion blended sustainable development, cultural heritage, and emerging economic potential.
The displays navigated through Odisha’s agricultural innovations, tourism circuits, spiritual landmarks, industrial strength, and investment-ready ecosystems. Chief Minister Majhi’s visit on November 22 underscored a strong focus on women empowerment, reflected in extensive SHG participation across craft, food processing, and rural enterprise sections.

Significance of the Win: Cultural Pride and Economic Momentum
This victory marks Odisha’s fourth consecutive IITF recognition—and the second gold in 2025—affirming its consistent excellence in design, storytelling, and state branding. The pavilion generated buyer interest in textiles, handicrafts, organic products, and tourism, while creating new networks for FDI and MSME collaboration.
A Golden Moment Shaping Odisha’s Future
