President Droupadi Murmu Embarks on Transformative Four-Day Journey Across Odisha

President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming four-day odyssey across Odisha promises to bring forth a wave of transformative initiatives, fostering development and cultural preservation in the region.

Commencing today, the President’s itinerary is packed with significant engagements aimed at uplifting various sectors and communities across the state.

Day One: Laying Foundations and Empowering Communities

President Murmu will kick off her visit by laying the foundation stone for the Central Government Holiday Home at Rairangpur, symbolizing the initiation of a project pivotal for tourism and hospitality in the region. Additionally, she will virtually inaugurate road projects and a Sports Complex at Rairangpur, underscoring the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and sports promotion.

Furthermore, the inauguration of the Eklavya Model Residential School in Barsahi reflects a dedication to providing quality education and empowering youth in remote areas.

Day Two: Cultural Immersion and Academic Discourse

On the second day of her visit, President Murmu will immerse herself in the rich cultural tapestry of Odisha by interacting with the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) of Kadalibadi village at Gonasika, Keonjhar. This interaction underscores her commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of marginalized communities.

Following this, the President will inaugurate a national seminar focusing on the tribes of Keonjhar, shedding light on their heritage and cultural significance. Addressing the students of Dharanidhar University will provide an opportunity for dialogue and inspiration, furthering the cause of education in the state.

Day Three: Academic Acknowledgment and Celebrations

President Murmu will continue her journey by gracing the convocations of Berhampur University and Utkal University, recognizing and celebrating academic excellence. Additionally, her presence at the golden jubilee celebration of Brahma Kumaris in Cuttack will highlight the importance of spirituality and community service in society.

Day Four: Cultural Heritage and Community Outreach

The final day of the President’s visit will be marked by a deep dive into the cultural heritage of Odisha, as she visits locations associated with Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi in Sambalpur district. Meeting with the followers of the Mahima Cult will provide insights into the region’s spiritual fabric and foster community engagement.
