Tragically, he passed away on Thursday, leaving behind a grieving family. However, amidst their sorrow, the family took a remarkable decision to donate Om Shibu’s kidneys, a decision that would potentially save the lives of two others.
Upon expressing their wish to donate Shibu’s organs, medical authorities swiftly initiated the process to preserve the kidneys. Subsequently, one kidney will be transplanted to a patient at SCBMCH, while the other will be allocated to a recipient in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
