With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony imminent, Delhi braces itself for a day of historical significance and heightened security measures. As dignitaries from SAARC nations converge upon the capital to witness this momentous occasion, preparations are underway to ensure a seamless and secure event.

Security arrangements for the ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan are being meticulously orchestrated, drawing parallels to the stringent protocols observed during international summits such as the G20. A multi-layered security apparatus, comprising five companies of paramilitary personnel, NSG commandos, snipers, and aerial surveillance drones, will be deployed to safeguard the venue and its attendees.

Anticipating the presence of distinguished guests from SAARC nations, designated transit routes have been charted to facilitate their safe passage to and from the ceremony. Along these routes, snipers and armed police personnel will be strategically positioned, while surveillance drones will provide additional oversight from above, bolstering the city’s security perimeter.

To augment traditional security measures, advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and facial recognition systems will be employed, enhancing the city’s ability to detect and deter potential threats. The integration of intrusion warning systems and rooftop snipers further fortifies the security infrastructure, leaving no room for compromise in ensuring the safety of all involved.

Within the confines of Rashtrapati Bhawan, a three-tiered security arrangement will be enforced, with elite commando units from Delhi Police’s SWAT and NSG units stationed to safeguard the premises. A contingent of approximately 2500 police personnel, including paramilitary forces and Delhi Armed Police, will bolster the security cordon, maintaining a vigilant watch over the prestigious venue.

As the event draws nearer, preparations are also underway to manage traffic and regulate access to the central part of Delhi. Road closures and diversions may be implemented to facilitate the smooth flow of vehicular movement, while stringent border checks will be conducted to monitor the influx of visitors and maintain order.

Amidst the elaborate security arrangements, dignitaries from India’s neighboring countries and the Indian Ocean region have enthusiastically accepted invitations to witness Prime Minister Modi’s historic swearing-in ceremony. Following the oath-taking, a banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu will offer an opportunity for diplomatic engagements and mutual exchanges of goodwill among esteemed guests.

In a gesture of inclusivity, special invitees representing various segments of Indian society will also be in attendance, underscoring the nation’s commitment to diversity and social cohesion. From laborers and railway staff to sanitation workers and beneficiaries of government schemes, these individuals symbolize the diverse tapestry of India’s socio-economic fabric.

As the nation eagerly awaits the commencement of Narendra Modi’s third consecutive term as Prime Minister, the meticulous preparations underway in Delhi serve as a testament to the grandeur and significance of this historic occasion in India’s democratic journey.
