Odisha’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) recently gave the nod to 22 diverse industrial projects valued at Rs 4,066.71 crore during its 129th meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena. These projects span multiple sectors such as green energy equipment, chemicals, textiles, steel, iron, ferroalloys, and more, promising substantial employment opportunities.
With a collective potential to generate 25,525 jobs across 12 districts, these approved projects signal a significant economic boost for the region. The diverse range of ventures encompasses essential industries vital for Odisha’s growth trajectory.

Green Energy Sector:
Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt Limited is gearing up to establish its Electrolyser Manufacturing Plant in Khordha with an investment of Rs 435 crore, expected to generate 300 job opportunities.
Chemical Sector:
Shalimar Paints Limited is set to inaugurate its Varnish and Applied Products project in Balasore, investing Rs 135 crore, and envisaging 200 employment opportunities.
Reliance Bio Energy Limited:
This enterprise is venturing into two projects on Compressed Biogas and Fermented Organic Manure in Dhenkanal and Cuttack, collectively investing Rs 242.42 crore and aiming to employ 138 individuals.
Textile and Apparel Sector:
OFB Tech Private Limited is eyeing Khurdha for its project, investing Rs 857 crore in manufacturing a wide array of apparel, with a mammoth employment potential of 15,000 jobs.
M/s. Enrich Clothing Inc plans to set up a readymade garments manufacturing unit in Cuttack, investing Rs 52.50 crore, with an estimated employment scope for 1,020 individuals.
Technical Textile Sector:
Shalimar Wires Industries Limited has secured approval for its project to manufacture synthetic fabric for industrial filtration in Khurda, investing Rs 76 crore and offering employment to 100 individuals.
Metal Downstream Sector:
BMW Industries Limited is slated to establish its unit for manufacturing galvanized plain coil, among other products in Jajpur, with a project cost of Rs 713 crore and job prospects for 276 people.
Food Processing Sector:
Bajrangbali Minmet Pvt Ltd’s venture into producing instant pasta and vermicelli in Sundargarh with an investment of Rs 52.10 crore is expected to offer jobs to 50 individuals.
Power & Renewable Energy Sector:
Hindalco Industries Limited is set to embark on a Solar PV Power unit in Koraput with an investment of Rs 200 crore, likely employing 80 individuals.
Tata Steel Limited’s 22 MW Solar PV Power Plant in Sundargarh, with an investment of Rs 125.69 crore, is anticipated to create 23 job opportunities.
Adani Total Energies Biomass Limited will produce compressed biogas in Sambalpur with a project cost of Rs 136.50 crore, potentially employing 180 individuals.
IT Infrastructure Sector:
Pine Square LLP and A K Das Associates Ltd. are geared up to establish IT Parks in Khurda, investing Rs 110 crore and Rs 51.62 crore, respectively, and collectively offering employment to 311 individuals.
This diversified portfolio of projects underscores Odisha’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth, creating employment avenues, and propelling the state towards a brighter economic future.
Further in the Infrastructure sector, Geo Impex and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. will diversify its portfolio with a manufacturing unit at Chhatrapur in Ganjam with an investment of Rs 207 crore and job potential for 4,650 individuals.
Koli Commercial LLP got the nod for a project on coal transportation through railway siding in Angul with an investment of Rs 77.12 crore and employment potential for182 individuals.
In the Aluminium Downstream sector, Cabcon India Limited plans to produce 72,000 MT cable conductors in Jharsuguda with a project cost of Rs 100 crore and job potential for 1,000 individuals.
For the Machinery and Equipment sector, Rice Lake Weighing Systems India Limited will manufacture material handling systems in Khurda with a project cost of Rs 51 crores and potential employment for 65 people.
