In a significant stride towards modernizing governance in Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled the state’s pioneering ‘Online Incentive Management System’ developed by the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC). This groundbreaking online platform streamlines the process for entrepreneurs to apply for incentives under various policies including IT, Electronics, Data Centre, BPO, Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Fabless Policies.

The Online Incentive Management System marks a shift towards efficient e-governance, offering myriad benefits over traditional application methods. Entrepreneurs can now seamlessly submit applications and upload necessary documents through a user-friendly portal. The system boasts a single window facility, error checks, and robust security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded this innovative initiative, highlighting its role in simplifying incentive processes while enhancing accessibility and transparency in governance. He emphasized the significance of leveraging technology to make governance more user-friendly and efficient for citizens and businesses alike.

Furthermore, the Electronics & Information Technology Department, in collaboration with industry bodies like NASSCOM, plans to conduct hands-on training sessions for IT/ITeS/Electronics establishments to ensure smooth utilization of the online portal.

In parallel, the Chief Minister inaugurated the standardized district websites, aligning with the transformative ‘Standardized Website Framework’ (SWF) under the 5T initiative. These websites, developed for all 30 districts, aim to provide a unified digital interface for citizens, reinforcing Odisha’s commitment to technological advancement and citizen-centric governance.

The Chief Minister hailed the district websites as another milestone in Odisha’s technological evolution, underscoring their user-friendly design catering to diverse segments of society. These initiatives epitomize the principles of 5T governance, setting new benchmarks for transparency and efficiency in the nation.

Kartik Pandian, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, commended the 5T initiative for driving transformative changes across various sectors in the state. He credited the principles of teamwork and technology for the successful implementation of numerous projects, emphasizing the role of 5T in propelling Odisha towards rapid development.

Echoing similar sentiments, Tusharkanti Behera, Minister of Electronics and IT, reiterated the government’s commitment to providing transparent and citizen-centric governance through e-governance initiatives.

Principal Secretary of the Electronics & IT Department and Managing Director of OCAC, Manoj Kumar Mishra, emphasized the security and scalability of the SWF, highlighting its adherence to standardized practices and guidelines for Indian Government Websites.
